2-2 complete system "Racing" (without VTA) with "Prisma" type silencers stainless steel/brushed Ducati Panigale 1199/S/R (2012-2014), 1299/S (2015-)
Current Note: Due to the special connecting pipe-bending of the vertical cylinder, it is unfortunately not possible to mount this exhaust at Ducati 899 Panigale!
For mounting on a Ducati 1299/S (2015-) you have to use the optional cylinder connection pipe of FM Projects but in this case the fan wheels have to be removed. Or you have to use the a stock link pipe from Ducati 1199/S (2012-2014). Because the standard link pipe of Ducati 1299/S cannot be divided at the point where the FM Projects exhaust must be adapted.
Exclusively offered by Daniele Moto International in Germany, Austria, Swiss and the Netherlands, the new 2-2 complete system for Ducati 1199 Panigale from a new, highly skilled, Italian performance exhaust manufacturing company called FM Projects. Designed in accordance for the Barni Racing Team (CIV SBK FIM + SUPERSTOCK1000 CUP - ITALIA).
Suitable for models: 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S, 1199 Panigale S Tricolor and 1199 Panigale R + New Panigale 1299/S (2015-).
This system is designed of the highest standard using high quality materials and taking 36 hours to build. All is handcrafted producing 10 units per month at present, which makes every system exclusive as a one-off design. The innovative manifold system, in conjunction with an optionally and specifically designed RexXer tuning map (developed by Fabrizio Richiardi), obtains an enormous top efficiency of +13.3 hp (Measurement of the crankshaft), which takes place over the entire rev range (see performance chart). Also, the torque is increased by approximately +10 Nm.
The complete system is equipped with 2 beautifully designed mufflers of "Prism" type, leading from round to oval, with a choice of removable baffles. The CNC machined aluminum end-caps are also exceptionally beautiful. The manifold is made of stainless steel manufactured from a TIG welding process. This guarantees very smooth welds with a perfect finish, without elevations inside and outside. This contributes not just for looks, but also crucial to the performance!
This complete system is available as a pure racing version (not street legal). The noise level and can be adjusted by the custom using the 2 different baffles (D = 40 mm and D = 32 mm) which are included in the kit. Two additional mesh insert (D = 51mm or D = 59mm) are also included!
Here are the stationary noise values, determined by the manufacturer, mesured by the various included baffles and with a new not yet retracted complete system:
with 32 mm baffles = 105 dB at 5000 r/min.
with 40 mm baffles = 108 dB at 5000 r/min.
Fully open = 110 dB at 5000 r/min.
According to the manufacturer, the system is attenuated by about 300 km by about 2 dB.
Tip: Using the large mesh insert combined with the 40 mm baffle, the noise can be limited to around 107 db for track use (eg Superstock 1000 series). The peak power is reduced by only about 1 hp. An installation guide is included.
Important: The installation of the circlip is only possible with a special snap ring pliers!
Note: The original link of the lying cylinder must be used from the stock system and is not included! Optionally, a specially shaped and performance enhancing cylinder connection pipe is available as a supplement, to be used without the standard fan s, whereby the performance of the FM complete system can be increased additionally.
The manifold has 2 x M18x1,5 mm Oxygen Sensor plugs. 2 adapters are included which allows to use also small probes with M12x1,25 mm thread.
